What is it?:

Spectrum is an autism awareness parent/carer course developed by Drumbeat Outreach delivered over eight weeks in evening sessions lasting 2.5 hours

Where is it?:

Spectrum is delivered in person at Drumbeat Downham school site by neuro-affirming Drumbeat specialists practitioners

Who is it for?:

The course has been developed for families with neurodivergent children and young people aged 5-18. Parents are invited to join the course if their young person has an autism diagnosis or is on the pathway to an autism assessment

How will it help me and my family?:

Through attending this course you will be encouraged to explore your child’s unique profile of strengths and needs, and will learn practical strategies to support communication, regulation, and daily routines. The course also provides emotional reassurance and connects families to helpful resources and support, whilst holding space for listening and sharing experiences with other families
