Led by a neurodiverse team, we draw on both professional expertise and lived experience to deliver meaningful, impactful learning.
What’s on offer
Let us support your journey towards an inclusive and understanding school community.
At Drumbeat Outreach, we work alongside Early Years settings, schools and post-16 provision to build confidence, understanding, and genuinely neuroaffirming practice. Our extensive training offer is practical, engaging, and grounded in real-world experience with autistic children and young people. We explore key concepts such as monotropism, emotional regulation and the double empathy paradigm, and how these can transform the way professionals understand behaviour, communication, and learning. Our training supports staff to move away from deficit-based thinking and towards approaches that promote connection, curiosity, and respect, while creating environments where autistic learners feel understood, valued, and able to thrive. We focus on what really works in busy settings, helping professionals reflect on their practice and develop inclusive, empowering strategies they can use straight away.
Some of our most recent training has focused on high profile issues in education which are particularly relevant to neurodivergent learners, including ESBNA and the experience of anxious non-attenders, masking and autistic burn-out, and complex overlapping profile of Autistic/ADHDers.
