What is it?:

A licensed autism awareness course developed by the National Autistic Society (NAS) delivered in weekly sessions over three months by neuro-affirming Drumbeat Early Years specialist practitioners

Where is it?:

The course is delivered in person at a Drumbeat School site or online, daytime or evening and can include some home visits to support families to personalise the course to their own child

Who is it for?:

The course has been developed for two parents and carers from each family (or another family member or friend) who have recently received a diagnosis of autism for their child aged between 2 yrs and 5 yrs; this includes a private diagnosis as well as an NHS diagnosis

How will it help me and my family?:

By exploring practical strategies to understand and support your child’s communication, regulation, and development whilst offering emotional support and connection to others going through similar experiences, creating a supportive community
